Vegetarian, not because i believe people shouldnt eat animals, but i do believe they deserve to be raised humanely and treated with kindness. I cant imagine eating any large scale commercial animal products nowadays, i really only eat what i can grow or buy from the local farmers market. Too much fuckin poison in the food, if i was still eating meat id definitely be looking into “certified humane” even whole foods and larger grocers are selling this higher quality protein now. Because my ancestors never were for millennia. We have been killing animals for nutrients before recorded history. Provided the animals aren't suffering like in your videos, I'm okay with it. Maybe lab grown meet will be a thing decades from now which accomplishes the same product without the animal, and thats something I'm open to if the taste/texture is the same and there are no health issues to consuming it.

If halal slaughter is done well the animal goes unconscious quickly. It is a medieval slaughter where you don't want the butcher to be injured by a trashing animal and said butcher only has a small knife.
