Despite people freaking out the LNG isn't that much more than Russia all things considered. The price was in building the terminals to accept the gas. And Europe literally snubbed their noses are american gas because they didn't like fracking. They also did it to spite Trump.

>Makes a multibillion Euro deal with a military power that has for most of history been its Rival
>Doesn't have ANY backup plan for alternative energy sources..refuses to build even ONE LNG port.

>Is now completely beholden to Russian authority over something as easy to procure as energy because the west is spiraling off an inflationary depression cliff and a super spike in energy would more than likely crush it.

Qatar mostly. LNG takes alot of specialized equipment and terminals. Most countries focus on oil instead of gas because of this.

Algeria already exports to Western Europe though. And they do gas swap deals with Russia to supply U.S. Route that to Europe.
