To all those who are going on about "WHEN IS IT GOING TO HAPPEN", let me dispense some wisdom.
There are two ways conflicts start. One is called a "spasm": that's when EVERYTHING fucking happens all at once. It's messy, and you don't want to be on the side that starts it unless you have very solid international support.
Then there is something called "transition to war". That's when things slowly move in a gray zone between war and peace.
This whole mess has been a slow transition. We went from pretty much zero except a localized conflict with a tenuous ceasefire to troop movements, mobilization and pew-pews. There won't be a big, sudden happening. What there will be is this: every day, it's a little more "war-y" and a little less "peace-y" than before, until basically there's a good old fashioned shooting war. Russia knows that the West is a bunch of cucks and they can get away with anything as long as they give the West some time to get used to the new status quo before embarking upon the next step.
You won't be able to tell when we went from peace to war. We might already have. But every moment, things are less stable than the moment before. And that's what's "happening".
