Hello fellow anons. I've been lurking here for the past few years. And just like you, I've noticed the slow and steady change permeating society on a global scale. Systems that originated out of a need to facilitate an easier life have turned cancer and started strangling freedom. Any Forums as such is probably the last bastion of free speech, where memes, ideas and thoughts can intermingle and show that there is more to the world than the singular controlled perception the elite tries to impose on us using MSM, social media and the internet as a whole.

That's one of the reasons why I decided to create Link Deposit. At first I wanted to make a bookmarking app to share interesting links with friends and family. But during the start of 2020 pandemic, we noticed that links being sent were all over social media, and it was hard to filter what information is good, what is fake, even harder to find them at times later, when you needed to show some piece of information to a person who believed in mainstream media narrative. And even then the link might be modified or outright removed.

After a year of hard work, me and a handful of friends that helped make this happen, I'd like to introduce Link Deposit. It is a tool to organize links into deposits that have a permanent URL and anyone can view them. It is a website, but behaves like an app on modern browsers, so people don't need to download from App Stores - it happens automatically as you load the page and it can't be removed by App Store guidelines.

Key feature of Link Deposit is that you can generate QR codes on the fly and let people scan them (even offline). If you had a deposit with dozens of "red-pills" in it, you could go mingle where people are gathering to spread information, since most smartphones can now scan QR codes by default and Link Deposit doesn't need installation. You could even print the QR code on stickers, or a big piece of paper for everyone on TV to see.
Another key feature is a built-in redirect to Google translate pages in the language of choosing, meaning even non-native speakers can read important information without hassle.

The app itself is not sexy, I'd say barely good looking since I'm not a UI expert, but it's free and very handy. You can use the app without making an account just fine. But, in order to share deposits on cloud via URL, creating an account is needed. Throwaway email is fine, but be sure to remember login information! This is a passion project and will probably lose more money than earn some. But at least it will be a source of many keks to come.

Try checking if you have strict privacy options turned on, as it needs to load service workers and cookies to save links when using offline mode

You can archive pages using archive.is and save those links, or you can use Link Deposit archiving feature to do that for you. It will keep both the link and a snapshot in HTML format, meaning it will preserve text, images and browsing functionality.
It is currently a beta premium feature, yet to be released to wider audience, but it works. If you check some of the deposits, you'll be able to see archived versions as well

Whoever visited Link Deposit and added it to home screen, he will have a copy on his device until deleted. Even then he can share all the links he collected on the device with others.
You can even backup all of your links, just in case. Go under Settings -> Export links to .txt and viola

I guess that you can send people the link rather than the text file. Then again, I add the source link to the text file allready.

Your links are organized and clearly visible because each link has a thumbnail associated. You can search them easily, sort, etc.
Moreover, you can remotely access and organize your deposits across different devices, for example smartphone and pc.
You can generate QR code of a link to share with others if you wish.
You can share that deposit and links to others easily,.
Some links like youtube are embedded automatically, so you can preview content from within app. Try it out!

Thanks user, I agree with your statement. This is just a tool; it can be used to save and share cute cat videos, save good recipes to share with family later, even save porn for embedded view. It is up to the users how they will use it. It can serve as a handy bookmark on steroids just for personal use.
Not sure how old you mean, it might not work on very old browsers that don't support service workers, like IE. You can open developer console in Firefox (Ctrl + Shift + I) and check the logs.
