One, I don't want to go to jail. Two, I'm not in high school or college anymore, and after covid I'm not really on the party circuit. Best way to make it as a drug dealer is sell to friends and spread by word of mouth. If you're friends stop doing drugs it's kind of difficult.
Plus, weed is legal in a lot of places and it's not as profitable to sell anymore. It's getting to be the point it's like any other crop. If you sell it legally you have to have meticulous organization and permits. Sell it illegally you have to sell it cheap as fuck to undercut convenience of legal pot.
Poppies are far more labor intensive than weed and it's not profitable to grow them. There's a reason most heroin comes from Afghanistan or southeast Asia,
Shrooms are probably your best bet out of these three for small scale operations but the problem is psychedelics aren't like other drugs. No one is consuming shrooms daily like they do with weed or opiates. Unless you're on the festival circuit or in a major city, you just won't make a lot selling them.

Idk, now that I'm older and I realize drugs are bullshit I couldn't imagine selling them. You'd make most money with heroin or blow or meth but then you have to deal with the worst kind of addicts who'd rat you out if they got caught.

Basically this, you need to be a high schooler or college aged kid to actually have a big enough market of buyers without established older dealers in order to make serious money without upsetting other people. There is always the dw, but people get busted all the time and that's highly risky.
You'd have to traffic a shit ton of bud to make good money and at that point the risk outweighs the reward because selling a lot of weed = fed charges.
