Nobody regards them as credible. Just the MSN and NPCs. The MSN because they own the factcheckers and the NPCs because MSN tells them to.

Factcheckers are the MSNs second division. Before fact checkers MSN was the fact checker. After they lost credibility and it was show that they are not impartial they needed to create secondary entities through which they give themselves more credibility.
