Avians have the most neuron dense brains in the animal kingdom, far beyond humans. An Australian magpie has a brain the size of a walnut yet the neurons in its upper brain are equal to chimpanzees. This is a genetic adaptation and undoubtedly has genetic roots. If a human had a brain of any size at the same level of density as a Crow's brain, they would be a super genius. Why is no one looking into this?

Small body, high energy cost of flight, high energy cost of dense brain.
Compromise... During periods of abundance, brain is allowed to thrive and grow dense. During periods of famine, brain is allowed to be consumed by body for nutrients.
Not great for long term knowledge, but birds don't usually live for decades or write their memories down.
The bigger evolution question should be:
If a caged bird with abundant food and abundant mating opportunity and abundant space to spread their wings exists (considerate zoo), then why haven't SUPER BIRDS emerged? Bigger versions of same species, smarter genius tier birds, and birds optimized for winter survival as well as summer. Don't think of it as a "evolution standstill zone", but more of a "well-funded research zone with no penalty for failed experiments".
So any logical man would wonder, especially in the MOUSE UTOPIA experiment zones... why rapid evolution HAS NOT OCCURRED in zones of low punishment and high caloric food opportunities?
