Unironically this. After Canada just voted away all their rights, it shows how necessary it is to have a Bill of Rights that is incredibly hard to simply vote away. We have no "emergency powers act" that simply cans the amendments.
Things might go to shit here, of course, but they have to tear up the Constitution to do it. Incidentally, the American military's oath of loyalty is to the Constitution, not the President. Congress or anything else.
If Biden just did what Trudeau just did, the military would have cause to drive tanks into D.C.
I actually do think America is going to be the last stand of freedom in the world. We've been greatly undermined but I think we still got it where it counts.
