You can OF COURSE see an earthrise when orbiting the moon (like in pic).
You can, however, not see it from the 6 Apollo landing sites. NASA has never released an earthrise photo from the landing sites EVER. The pictures where you see it behind the lander are doctored by conspiracy theorists.
