I once went to one of my ex's hockey games, not ice hockey, the on the ground wearing shoes one, I was there for over an hour being mildly supportive of my girl and the match was over and it was now time for the teenage boys time to play the court the girls were using, my ears started hurting from the shear volume of the puck being struck as the boys were merely passing the puck to each other before their game, the girls hockey didn't even touch their level of energy the whole hour it was played.
