If that had happened in Africa or the Middle East the diaspora from those countries would be on twitter calling Truman a white supremacist KKK imperialist and calling for statues of Tibbets ripped down.
I saw an iranian journalist woman ranting about white supremacy for the removal of Mossadegh and this happened decades before she was even born. I saw a black Congolose woman ranting about Belgium white supremacy in the Congo despite it happening again decades before she was even alive.
The Japanese-American diaspora don't seem to blame the whites here and they just show up on heart-warming documentaries talking about the "impact of war" and then move on. The Japanese diaspora are not on twitter ranting about white racist America and how America must pay for its crimes against their people yet the Africans and the Middle Easterners are always checking the Americans for white/Anglo-American hegemony.
Even Pajeet Indians are now starting to come after the white man on Twitter for the British Raj and the Indian Mutiny but total silence from the Japanese women.
Same reason Europeans don't care about the Berber slave ships. We all know we're superior.

How do you know? They still remember it they just lost and some of them brainwashed or american puppets.

Because Japanese people are logical and don't hate the Americans who had nothing to do with that The majority of Japanese people had nothing to do with it either
We were foreign enough to each other be fierce enemies but became good friends afterwards. They told foreign boats to fuck off. We threatened them to trade with us. We gave them baseball. They gave us Pearl Harbor. We gave them nukes. They gave us Gundams. The symbiosis has been interesting.

It was in retaliation and they were literally warned about it. They can only blame their self proclaimed God emperor who had to go on radio and tell them he wasn't actually a God in order to placate the masses.

Depends on how old they are and what city they live in. >Young person Don't give a fuck and really likes Americans >Old person in Tokyo Probably remembers the bomb dropping or their parents telling them about it. Has a little animosity but learned to get over it >Old person in Hiroshima Still salty as fuck because they likely have direct relatives that either died or got fucked up pretty bad by the bomb
Kevin Nelson
That's the impression i get when i see Japanese talk about it, they talk about it almost like "so what we had it coming" but Africans and Middle Easterners don't do this. They fully blame the Americans and the west for the state of their countries. They make no bones about it "you are to blame, it's payback now". The Japanese seem pretty flippant about it in comparison.

Japs are a warrior race

Japanese are logical and understand cause and effect.

Because America rebuilt Japan after the war and became one of the most prosperous states on earth. In an alternate timeline, Japan either falls to soviet influence or just stagnates in ruin post-war, they didn't have much going for them at the time besides their zealous military. And like said most Japanese are aware that they really don't have good grounds to complain about the nukes considering what they did to the Chinese and Koreans.

>Why are the Japanese different in this regard? Japanese understand the circumstances that we are all in. Besides, most Americans already apologized for the nukes anyways. Everyone found it weird how the bombs dropped on the two only Christian cities in Japan.
>why don’t they complain about us nuking them Because we literally nuked them user
Christopher Roberts
They see it as a lesson never to wage war again.
Carter Rivera
>said most Japanese are aware that they really don't have good grounds to complain about the nukes considering what they did to the Chinese and Koreans. No. That'd require them to know what they actually did to Chinese and Koreans and this subject is barely covered in their history classes.

>Le epical zog war incidents maymays and cartoons maymays This is why your country is a meme to everyone
There are a lot of common sense guesses here, but the truth widespread mention and condemnation of it is largely taboo, because the occupation forces made it taboo. American propaganda worked really hard to turn the anger of the bombings and and atrocities from them, and switch it to a narrative of ‘be angry at war, war is bad’.
Make no mistake, it is occupation propaganda. A truly free and independent Japan would be pissed about, guaranteed.
Logan Thompson
nigger we raped and killed all their strong people and left the subservient ones.

>Why don't the Japanese care about the white man dropping nuclear bombs on them? The same reason we don't care about Japanese torture camps and general savagery. We understand that war is hell and everyone does bad things. Especially modern warfare that doesn't have any code of chivalry/bushido behind it. >If that had happened in Africa or the Middle East the diaspora from those countries would be on twitter calling Truman a white supremacist KKK imperialist That's called astroturfing. People get (((funding))) for hating the white man. Normal Middle-Easterners are more likely to be angry about the Sykes-Picot agreement or the abandonment of Palestine to Israel than any past battles they lost.
Lincoln Kelly
>Durr le epic reddit and morty cartoons licensed by Jewish companies and (((localized))) everyone! That's what we should adopt from the Japanese!
Japan is a warrior culture that has always honored "The winner of the war has superior ways that we should adopt".
Every time Japan lost a war they completely adopted the culture of the winning side and kept that culture until losing again.
Japan lost to the US in 1853 which led to Japan industrializing and adopting western nobility + parliament. Completely modeling itself like western powers. They even colonized areas to have colonies like the west did.
Then in 1945 when Japan lost WW2 they changed again to become like America. A modern democracy with ideology like freedom, democracy and human rights.
Japan is going to stay this way until they get defeated again. If Japan gets defeated by China they will become Communist. If Japan gets defeated by Russia they will become an oligarchy etc.
Sebastian Reyes
Nah mutt, they only told subhumans to fuck off We still traded with them
Dylan Nelson
Why don't white people care about their countries being turned into 3rd world shitholes by low IQ and violent shitskins and niggers? At least for Japanese those bombs were dropped 77 years ago and they're way past their consequences. The shit we are in hasn't even reached it's apex yet.
Brandon Wilson
Because we helped them rebuild into a major economic power afterwards? I mean yeah they're still a bit pissy about getting slapped the fuck down by foreigners, but they've at least calmed down.
Carson Johnson
My wife is Japanese and that's what she told me. Most Japanese hate war, but they couldn't openly say so during WW2, otherwise they would've gotten executed on the spot for being a deserter. There was also a large amount of propaganda saying that Japan already won the war and that it was just a matter of time until the Allied countries would capitulate.
Caleb Barnes
So your wife is 100 years old then and lived during WW2 huh
Evan Torres

Levi Gonzalez
No, but she has grandparents who lived during WW2, just as mine did and have a story of their own that is not important enough to write about in history books.
