What's the problem? They have green energy.

Natural gas is not the same as gasoline or diesel.

Just one more week.

Proof solar and wind works.

Russia has held back gas and only delivered that absolute smallest amount without breaking any contracts. Extremely high prices and still holding back while at the same time claiming NOT to be holding back. Russian statements are weird as fug to be honest. The EU made a statement today that they have enough gas until summer.

Well I guess they'll probably stop buying from Russia

Gas is not petrol you disgusting overweight mutt

We still use natural gas for cooking and heating houses.

Electric and gas are mostly a separate thing in every country

pretty much, just got to wait until the olympics is over

Russians seems hellbent on doing one thing while claiming to do the opposite. Many such cases!

LNG is 10 times more expensive, Europe can't afford it

In Scandinavia it's only electricity for basically everything.

>solar power planes
>wind powered tanks

Unstoppable.

Are you serious?
How do you cook and heat houses? With electric?

Kek

>(((Russia)))

you use GAS to cook and heat your houses?

>With electric?
Yes.

Hell yeah, new electric stoves are comfy as fuck.

Yes our oven has a connection to a gas line.
And our heaters are connected to a gas powered boiler

so NATO has a choice to make... give up the cccp or freeze to death?

thats sounds pretty...expensive

do you heat the house directly with electricity or through something like a heat pump

Putins been playing Hoi4. Drain the enemies fuel supply = ez dub

Fucking germans, stop gassing jews i can't afford to cook my food!

they won't freeze to death, but they'll have to shut their economy down

I have some gas for you
*poot*

>Yes our oven has a connection to a gas line.
Is this normal in all of Europe or is it a British thing?

we built some retarded power cable to the uk that export much of our energy to you. it made power expensive af here. heard anything about that?

>Yes our oven has a connection to a gas line
Mine is electric.
Who uses gas based cookers these days?

>thick ada
>quints

HOLY SHIT

There's stoves that work by induction. They require pans made of a specific metal, but they aren't that much more expensive than regular pans anyway.
No flames or anything, just put the pan over the plate, select the temperature and let it boil.
You also have ceramic ones that work by heat, but it's still an electric resistance heating them. Still better than gas but not as cheap as induction.

Heat mostly comes from solar collectors. These aren't electric, they just heat a closed circuit of water during the day and use an electrical resistance if that's not enough.
It's crazy to hear that this isn't as universal as I though, my country isn't even that much advanced to begin with.

>heat the house directly with electricity or
Heat pumps are normal yes.

depends on the country, germany uses nearly exclusively electric stoves, some people have gas but its the exception (restaurants have gas 99% of times though)

we have however gas lines in the streets which are used for heating

Dude, even in Brazil, only the poorest people living in favelas use gas stove.

Not to mention, who will supply it? You can't just go to the world natural gas store and ask for enough natural gas to provide for 80 million people in 3 months. Building the tankers alone needed for such a huge operation would take years, even if you financed the whole thing, and the infrastructure, licenses, land rights, all that other bullshit to actually get the gas would take a decade to build out.

Electric stoves, electric ovens, electric heating. All of these things exist. In my apartment in VA everything is electric. Natural gas is typically not used in the U.S. as no one wants to deal with gas leaks, most people consider it less safe than purely electric alternatives.

All of the homes except for one that I lived in during my childhood in New Mexico were also purely electric, no natural gas at all. The exception was a mobile home my family moved out of when I was like four.

Try search with Google lens

The UK built their system around it though, with pipes and everything - so it's not comparable.

We need more future doctor and engineers!!!

>so youre telling me you cook with eylektrisaty ???
>you dont cook the animal corpse over a camp fire ???

Interesting, in Russia heating by electricity is about four times more expensive than by gas, likewise cooking.

They can rub the two green braincells they have to keep warm, Eurotrash.
