I imagine myself as a Centurion serving in the age of Augustus himself. A true soldier of Rome in a legion still mostly made up of Italians, flush with the victory of delivering Rome from the populist infighting that destroyed the old republic. I served on the frontier, guarding Roman territory from the barbaric Gauls. Upon retirement, I would settle in Spain, and have many children who would carry on my legacy and the glory of Rome.
