But what about all the rest of them? The old ones? The ugly ones? You know, the majority of women. They still are more protected and cared, but not that much at all.

Men are programmed to seek out a mate and breed with them. We value wombs because the survival of the species depends on it. Men are more disposable because 1 man can breed with a nearly limitless amount of women with no need to rest where as a woman becomes pregnant for 9 or so months, and may only produce a relatively small amount of offspring. Women are probably 2x more valuable than a man in this sense however if you want all of the trappings of modernity and civilization the more men the better because most women are useless as all fuck. There is a paradigm shift happening because less children are dying at birth and less mothers are dying at birth due to advancements in medical technology etc. This is having a big impact on the dynamics of gender distribution etc.
