I don't know why God does anything. Romans 9 hints at why:

19 One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” 20 But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’”[h] 21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction? 23 What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory— 24 even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

It's not really entropy so much as a sovereign plan.

2 Peter 3 says this:

10But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyedd by fire, and the earth and its works will be laid bare.e

11Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? So God has a plan and a will. Whatever happens is what God wanted

I don't think "sin boldly" is a very good message. He was rightfully against the Papacy though.

If all you know about Luther is "sin boldly", you really know nothing about him.

But of course if you are a reformation Christian you should sin boldly in the sense Luther meant. Because you are a sinner, and you can't stop sinning, as your OP picture says. What Luther says is something like "sin boldly because you are a great sinner, and believe in Christ even more boldly." Don't try to kid yourself that you aren't a sinner, or that you can have any other righteousness apart from the righteousness imputed to those who believe in Jesus.

But that is Luther and not Calvin. Calvin thinks the bible is about God's sovereignty, sort of like Islam. But the Bible is actually about Jesus Christ and the righteousness He accomplished for sinners.
