Martin Luther is burning in Hell as we speak

Luther preached a different gospel than the one the Galatians had accepted, which is the same gospel the Church Christ established had been preaching for 1500 years.

>(Romans 16:17): I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
Luther caused divisions, he rebelled against the Church of Christ and started preaching the heresy of Protestantism which he built on false man-made teachings that no Christian had believed up until he came along. He wrote his own Bible and took 7 books out of its Old Testament, not to mention that he also wanted to remove the epistle of James. Thanks to Luther, today there are 30000 Protestant denominations that can't agree with each other on issues as basic as baptism, predestination, salvation, communion, etc.

Luther refused to listen to the Church and chose his personal interpretation of Scripture and his man-made doctrines.

Christ gave us a Church, and only the Church has the authority to interpret the Bible, an infallible book that needs an infallible interpreter. In this particular case, the interpreter was the one that put together the book, to begin with.

Luther was right on the Papacy but wrong on the whole "sin boldly" and taking books out of the Bible.

As in this verse, peter tried to rebuke someone who was christian, but would not join "his" church, and wanted to stay independent. Christ rebuked peter and John harshly, making it clear that a believer and follower of Christ's doesn't have to be a part of Peters group to have salvation through Christ.

I believe everything that happened with the church is God's will so the early church dying as martyrs was God's will, the Catholics spreading ideology by the sword was God's will, and the Reformation later on was God's will. God uses whatever means necessary to spread the message.
