If I stop paying income taxes, what happens?

Watching the truckers made me realize something
They stop working, that's it, that's all they have to do to win
No good delivered, game over
The same applies to taxes
If I stop paying taxes, what can you do to me?
Put me in prison?
No tax delivered, in fact, govt now has to pay to feed and shelter me
The entire burden of my existence is lifted from me and put on them
They have no winning move against me
I just have to stop paying income tax

Is it actually that hard to learn how to be a trucker? To be honest, I have no idea.

Careful you're about to make the best realization of your life, you don't need to do ANYTHING and you can still live comfortably on the governments dime, its the secret of the modern era

They print money and you go to jail for tax evasion. You're not powerless though. An organized and sustained bank-run is, unironically, a good idea to get the powers-that-be to heel. Anyone can participate, costs the withdrawal fee.

The main issue is that people who don’t like paying taxes are generally freedom-oriented and don’t like to be in prison.

But we live in mad times, and after a point it becomes impossible for them to enforce taxes without forcibly seizing your funds and property. This would happen to the unlucky few, but most people would be fine. If the participants are done entirely with the system, it won’t take long before enforcers stop their property seizures as they lose lives every time they try it.

The one problem is that most people simply don’t pay taxes already. They are just welfare queens. Others get a return instead of paying because they, like many who make more, automatically have taxes deducted from their paycheck. You would need a large amount of self-employed people to all sync up on this at once for it to work.
