After the 2018 midterms, he was functionally toothless domestically because Congress was DNC-dominated in addition to the GOP not working with him. It’s why he increasingly started to toe the Establishment line; to try and get Congress to do any of the things he wanted. In the end, it made his policies indistinguishable from the Establishment’s. Anyone who voted for him in 2020 expecting anything other than Business as Usual was also an idiot. If you want change nationally, you need to shake out the establishment shitheels who have been in Congress for 30+ years. Congress are the ones who control legislation. If you want change locally, focus on who is in your state’s Legislature.
