How can you justify your addiction to anything (cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, porn, internet)? I saw people defending these vile stuff with fierce like they are good things. Governments are making these legal only means controlling, sedating, harming, and eventually killing its own citizens.

addiction is by far the worse thing to come out of this century. Even "based" people are addicted to shit like vape or cocaine

discouragement and high taxes on negative activities is the solution. Deters people without outright banning it, because that usually just creates an even worse underground version

Some of those things are enjoyable and I only get to live once so I want access to them so I can have them when I want. I think adderal and similar drugs should be legal too, it's helpful and it's pretty easy to take it responsibly. Preventing everyone from having them because a few people have way too much is stupid

Despite the fact that I am religious, I think God shouldn't be the only reason that you don't wanna act like an animal or kill yourself. This kind of frame of mind is just too hard to have and live with it. Don't you have any roots in this world that keeps you human?
