Woman in tech

Women doing back-end are a rare thing but the one I had the pleasure to work with actually are pretty smart and amazing to work with, because they are not as autistic and childish as most their male counterpart.

The problem as some Canadian user said the other day, is that it is a shame such women full of qualities are not at home full time raising a family.

Not so bad. I've got women on my team that are quite competent. My last job had some that were useless. Frankly, I think women and men should work on separate teams for the protection of both parties from sexual harassment lawsuits.

most women in tech companies do useless work like "system engineering" which is make useless Visio diagrams that most coders have in their heads
Also they tend to be promoted to middle management because they are good at relaying information from upper management to the lowers aka yelling
99% do not code and if they do, either they are really shitty at it or really good at it, no middle ground

This. My boss is a woman and is a genius. She could have raised the next Nikola Tesla. Instead she's dating some schlub and managing a team of engineers. She's close to 40 now. So damn sad.

I work as a programmer in major video streaming service. The company has been adding 'diversity hires' for company 'equity'. We got a batch of female nigger programmers and project managers. Some of the most retarded people i have met or worked with in my life. "Do we have to clear the cache?"

I like building clocks too. What's wrong with that.

They have it so much easier. I did a coding bootcamp and they got into positions within 2 weeks, many of the guys it took a few months and sometimes not at all. I went to a support session for CV and interview advice and it was all men.

I'm in a job now but man it was difficult, one recruiter even told me that many companies have gender quotas they go by and when the % of men are applying is 80%+ women clearly have the advantage.

Not tech but in my experience women will do the most monotonous, simple tasks over and over again with high work ethic. However, there will be near zero innovation or creativity or change to the problem solving method. Often there will be about 20%-50% mistakes in the pipeline. This is my 10 yr experience. I'm thinking about becoming a janitor or something. It's just too blackpilling working with women.

This isn't sarcasm or anything. Nor do I dislike women. I just cannot work with them anymore in any serious capacity. The most fun I had working in my entire life was in high school as a janitor.

Why would you not flex your white privilege?

Like this for PhD positions now too (in industry at least is my experience). Women generally dont understand what a PhD is about either - you get the occasional woman autist who, yes, should be there by all accounts, but most of the time these girls are going home to watch netflix every night for 3 hours. Then come in the next morning and complain about work? Like, its a PhD, you chose this, if you dont like it there are 1000 other jobs a young woman with a degree can easily get.

I think it is illegal for U.S. companies to process applications that contain a picture of the candidate
