Can you swim 5hrs without drowning? If you are an Olympian, I guess.
Can you row for 4hrs? Well, some can... but do you have a river to row that long?

Cycling and Swimming are probably best for overweight/obese people since there's less impact pressure on the joints. I wouldn't want an obese person on a rowing machine because they'd end up breaking it.

Exercise is for health, weight loss is about diet. You can’t exercise your way out of a bad diet. Reduce carbs as much as possible and stop eating processed food if you want to lose weight. Don’t bother counting calories either, just don’t eat carbs.

Schools should have at least 1 hour of PE classes ever day starting in 1st grade. Youth programs like sports clubs or scouts should also to some degree be enforced by law, either incorporated into schools or as some form of after school activity. I'm not asking about Hitler Youth tier stuff, but something that get children out in the world and helps them build their bodies and mind together with their peers.
