So I was born in January 1996, and it's like living in a fever dream. Let me try to explain.
1999-2006 >Columbine happens >no more bullying in schools >tease someone get in trouble, automatic suspension for fights >start using computers in school >teachers say never give your info online 2007 >come to school next year, teachers have their MySpace/Facebook up on PowerPoint with their name and address >other kids do the same >cellphones aren't necessary >now every kid has a flip out keyboard phone or a blackberry >crush hard on the emo girls who listen to FOB/MCR in older grades, get old enough to be decent looking and not a sperg >they all lose interest in any subculture, wear sweatpants and listen to trap rap, get fat >by the time I graduate the world is going full SJW anti white >now we're in hyper inflation and our government is collapsing
I have no idea if any of this was coherent, but it was like growing up watching narratives change in real time, seeing the adults just go along with it, having a ton of questions but no reference point, just a feeling that the world is becoming off, that decisions are being made by NPCs on autopilot.
I was born in 71, and I've watched the same process, albeit it was slower between 80 and 00.
But yeah after 2001, everything got put on fast forward. The meme "the world you were born in doesn't exist" is now starting to apply to people literally in their 20s, and that's some fucked up shit there.

welcome to the Kali Yuga. The ride will be over shortly and you are going to like getting off this ride. :)
The system tries to settle in a stable equilibrium, but when the ground keeps shifting beneath it the equilibrium point changes. And that shifting has been happening more and more frequently and with increasingly greater intensity, so the little ball trying to find the trough of stability is getting thrown around all over the place, up in the air, etc.

I've been here since the 80s. When remember you could have a saving account and the bank you pay you to keep your money there. a house was a few years savings. Felons were murderers or bank robbers. Now people are getting priced out of the used car market, and one in 4 people is a felon.
Ryder Williams
are those your only reference points of the last 30 years?
Yeah the fast forward button was hit in the early 2000s, and super fast forward since 2012.

Obviously a truncated timeline of events. I'm not going to pretend the war in Iraq mattered to me as a child if that's what your asking. Fast forward is a great way to put it.
Right. You’d possibly be labeled an autist for noticing things most people are complacent to. I was blessed to have been born right before phones took hold of kids and grew up in 90s. Sad that kids these days won’t know how it was prior, when the web first came out was like a huge info blessing. Now is disinfo propaganda curse largely
I'm from 95 and can't understand how we shifted from a society that loved to listen to Avril Lavigne and like rock bands to adore nigs in such a fast timing. It's just amazing.
For me, it was alright until 2010. Seems like from that time on, everything changed crazy fast. Too fckng fast. SJW thing is the most amazing shit of it all, how the hell it became that important, that fast?
I reaaaaaally enjoyed my childhood though. Enjoying playing on the streets and in the snes/ps1/ps2, but mostly on streets and trees.
I think my generation was the last to enjoy like that though, nowadays the kids want to act like teens and adults way too quick, they don't even know how much they're losing.

When I was in elementary and jr high all my teachers kept saying you will not have a calculator all the time. My how times have changed. Not only do I have a calculator all the time my phone is more powerful than any computer I seen in classroom growing up in the 80's and 90's.

>literally starting to apply to people in their 20's i feel bad for anyone younger than 20 at this point in time

the media really don't speak for the population, it's just an illusion

>columbine happens >no more bullying in schools ???

I just started feeling like the world I was born in no longer exists. I just turned 24. I kinda figured it wasn’t like that for previous generations, but I almost no longer connect with even the 19 yr old sluts I pull off tinder.
Fellow 96er here OP. Shit is seriously crazy. I can remember having dial up internet as a kid. By the time I was in high school all my peers had smartphones.
It's true, at least here. You'd still get picked on and pick on others in a soft way, but they went autistic with it, to the point of doing touch suspensions and hierarchical segregation. It's actually worse, they opt to let loser kids be completely isolated and lose the person building that punching a kid in the face, or being humbled yourself. Where do you think that bullying sketch from MDE came from? Early and often!
>haven't had cable TV for 20 years >don't listen to radio >can't stand modern movies >don't watch sports >don't read newspapers
Born in '75, with the above I'm practically Rip Van Winkle. Whether it's domestic intelligence agencies, the (((media))), the Chi-coms, or all of the above...when you stand outside of our culture and watch it evolve recently, it's painfully obvious how manipulated it is. There's nothing organic about hating your own skin color and going full wigger. We're being led around by the nose with roastie NPC's at the front and our simp men following. Everyone else gets swept along in their wake.
Lookup Project Mockingbird and the Smith-Mundt Act. It's all a big fucking psyop.

Avril died and was cloned by clonaid. I knew her before she got famous.

user, why'd you have to go and make things so complicated ?
