An interesting theory came to me about the political world, and their consumption, in my opinion more credible than the one about adrenochrome. Of course, it doesn't surprise anyone anymore to know that some people use cocaine to be more efficient, like bankers. But what if they had something better in stock, something less known and more difficult to access?
The product I'm thinking of is modafinil. Its arousing properties were discovered in 1974 by Dr. Michel Jouvet, a French neurobiologist. It awakens in a safe way, with few of the usual side effects of this kind of product. In 1991, it was tested on a thousand French soldiers during the Gulf War. This is in my opinion the story that inspired Alan Glynn when he wrote "The dark fields", which will be adapted to the cinema under the title "limitless", with Bradley Cooper. I also think that at the same time, it has been tested by many sportsmen during competitions, the Olympics and other big competitions are adequate test benches, with good devices to measure performances, and first choice subjects of study. It is also a very popular stimulus for students, allowing them to raise their grades without much effort. The question is: how many of them continue their consumption after their studies?
I used it for a few months years ago. It just makes you hyperfocused. If you are easily distracted it will not help you, you will spend hours walking around, going to the kitchen to get something but then wanting to get something in the bathroom while you're on the way to the kitchen and oh the window is open, better close that. Oh outside the window there's some sort of bag? I'm gonna go see what it is, maybe there's something in it. Ahh while I'm out here let's go for a walk to enjoy the weather.
Maybe if you are in university or have a better attention span than I do it could help.

Its not less known or hard to get. You can order it online. I order some a month before each school semester. Its less talked about because it sucks in comparison to adderall. I prefer it though, because it is close enough, and Im a former addict who cant do adderall without it triggering my former using compulsions. Modafinil is ordered in bulk online from India for cheap. Dextroamphetamine and Adderall and even vyvanse flows freely amongst people in their 20's in my city. Heaps of people are essentially using performance enhancing drugs for study and work on a regular basis (even high schoolers). If it is, its a lower schedule, basically substances that arnt serious but your suppose to get through big pharma via Dr -> perscription -> pharmacy. Trump I believe did some shit that opened up easier access for these lower sched drugs to compete with big pharma. Im sure it all falls into a legal grey area, but I suppose as long as your not buying in bulk to resale and only getting personal use amounts, you are fine. It works on like 15 different pathways, but primarily on histamine and dopamine reuptake inhibition.
Histamine reuptake means your scalp gets itchy and a few hairs will fall out.
Dopamine reuptake means you get autistic hyperfocus, autistic social meltdowns. Elevated prolactin means take too much and you'll be bawling about the polar bears at the end of the day.

This medication is included in emergency kits for pilots when they are scrambled.
Used it for a few years, it did something like keeping you alert when sleep deprived.
But it's not that strong and nothing like the weakest of stimulants, it's not even called a stimulant just a "wakefulness promoting agent".
I wouldn't see the harm of people using this but it's not a wonder drug unless you are sleep deprived constantly.

The rest you mentioned though happen with adderal as well, but with moda they are FAR less. Adderall I had to treat with alcohol or if I was lucky some other pharmaceuticals. Never tried phenibut, but I hear it has withdrawals as bad as banzos or heroin. Moda, ive never had to use anything additional. I just come off it, like coming off coffee or something. No added compulsions, just less up.
