Microsoft has rolled out a feature which checks for potentially offensive text. This has been going around since at least the end of 2021. It affects Word 365 on a Windows 10/11 PC computer.

The software also offers the user some PC alternatives to the flagged phrases. Examples of terms not deemed 'inclusive' by the spellchecker include 'blacklist', 'whitelist', 'postman' and 'mankind'.
Microsoft has released a statement in which it recognised that the inclusivity spellchecker may not be suitable for all scenarios and stressed that
>users can choose to turn the checker off at any point to be in control of their final output.
Only Boomers and idiot gamers use Microsoft products. Chads use MacBooks and Google G Suite.

You can get Word 365 on phones. Howver the offensive word filter is not yet on phones I think.

I don't use any Microsoft Office past 2016 since its the last one to have One Note save straight to your PC instead of being forced to use the shitty cloud service. As long as you aren't using the most recent iteration its fine enough

Use Linux or libreoffice. Better yet, learn how to write markdown. You literally don't need anything else, and if you do there's latex. MS/windows is a huge control vector over us.
