What do you think about chromebooks? I bought one a few days ago and I'm mostly hating it. For example I just installed Any Forums x and it says you can subscribe to threads by alt+click, but with this chromebook that brings up the rightclick menu. In Lichess you can't draw all the 4 colors for circles and arrows, only 3.

I own a pixelbook go with the i5. Its pretty snappy, but I only use chrome for work. I use firefox through linux. I mostly use it to ssh into my main arch pc. I'm using it right now.

The only reason to buy a chromebook was back when their prices were subsidized and you could get a quad core processor one for $250. Then you would install Linux or Windows on it.

modern chromebooks have limited hardware documentation so a lot of hardware features will be missing if you install linux. google has dropped support for installing linux in favour of their own in-house virtual based solution.

Pretty awful. I have one that I use strictly for email and word processing. It's slow and a pain in the ass. Cloud storage is an unsecure joke, so if you have a chromebook an external hd is a must. I know a lot of apple cucks love cloud storage, but they also love booster shots so fuck them.
The only thing I like about my chromebook is that it has so little space windows 10 can't update itself. For the past year it's been giving me pop ups "YOU NEED TO CLEAR DISK SPACE!" No chromebook is cheap enough to put up with the daily bullshit of using a chromebook.
