What has Mithraism got to do with our current situation? Heard that it was exactly Parallel with early Christianity and the word mystery comes from them. They worshiped a Semitic God and were involved with Rome’s inner circles.

A cult that infiltrated Rome and lead to its downfall.

Also the word mystery relates to their secret gatherings. They even had secret handshakes and stuff. That’s where the Freemason handshake originates from.

>infiltrated
why do that word?
people are not blind to such large activities.
people either accept or reject them.

Well because that’s what they did. They were a gathering of merchants, bureaucrats and military. They even had degrees of classes.

>actually an expert on this subject
>not gonna bother posting

>people are not blind to such large activities.
>people either accept or reject them.
The populous didn’t even know they existed because they kept themselves very low profile. And they focused more on rise of Christianity to bother.

Mithraism was introduced by Tiridates of Armenia after Rome's defeat of Parthia around 53 AD.
Mithras is colored by the spread of Zoroastrianism as a catholic religion of the Persian Empire, but in reality it's based on the true religion of Asia Minor - that of Sabazios.
Sabazios is also the basis for Bazeus Monobazus whose legacy framed the mystery cult of the Hurrians in a Jewish lens, leading to Christianity.

Why? So you can make a good thread die and let slide threads live.

>greek is a semitic language
>not going to tell anyone that

>Sabazios is also the basis for Bazeus Monobazus whose legacy framed the mystery cult of the Hurrians in a Jewish lens, leading to Christianity.
Interesting, I have never heard of the mystery cult of Hurrians. So there was a Jewish force behind it? Did Mithraism die or just continued in another form other than Christianity?

I have discussed this before about mystery cults.

>I think Christianity caught on because people got sick of mystery cults abusing their initiates to gain horded knowledge. Look at what the apostle Paul has to say about them in Ephesians. Hell, there is a novel from the 1st century called Satyricon about a man named Encolpius and his crazy adventures running into a Priapus cult (Dionysus’ son). One of them he has a sudden case of erectile disfunction right before he has a hot date with the most beautiful woman he ever met. So he goes to see 2 old priestesses and asks for her help. One of them answers "We must now go through with the mysteries, so that you may get back your virility." The next thing they do is try to cure it by inserting a dildo covered in oil, pepper, and nettles. While the other one is hitting him everywhere else with a bunch of nettles. It doesn’t work. It is as if the author was commenting the mysteries is like getting painfully fucked in the ass by old hags to access the most beautiful thing when it is unnecessary.
>This book has a weird ending when his friend Eumolpus, an old man who squandered his wealth tells his friends and associates that he wrote a will. The conditions to get anything from him are only if they eat his body. Eucolpius (who is the only friend Eumolpus has that knows he does not have anything left) is horrified to find out all his cult buddies are willing to go through with the old man’s request.

Eumolpus is an ancient Roman version of the guy on the left. Mythraism was a total sausage fest like Fagmasonry. It is no wonder it died out.

Hmm, interesting so basically what is happening with the Catholic Church from the modern era. It really is a cycle isn’t it. So these mysteries have existed even before the Roman Empire.

They weren't Hurrian anymore but those were their ancestors. This is where cows originated from, and Noah, and the Jericho era fertile crescent tower culture.
The Sabazios signs and tokens were much more elaborate than these cults like Mithraism.

So it was basically Roman Freemasonry. But got put on the backburner by Christianity and renamed itself to be more relevant.

mithril is still low level armour

The irony is that most of Christianity was a mystery cult, until a post 150 AD backlash where catholicizers switched to a sola scriptura model to combat the trend of totally batshit theological innovation. So suddenly Christian theology had to be justified from the scriptures alone, and that's why we don't really see Christian theology until around 200 AD.
There was an oral tradition but the church fathers were basically opposing it.

End of the Age of Taurus of I thought.
Jesus beginning of Pisces

White men love the shit out of knowledge clubs for some reason. I think it has to do with the acquisition of skills in the milieu of social power.

>This is where cows originated from, and Noah, and the Jericho era fertile crescent tower culture.
Ah okay. So did Hinduism get influenced by this. Well the Veda people. Did all Eurasian religions originate from the fertile crescent?

lol, good one

what can you guys tell me about the Samothracian mysteries and the Counts of Tusculum/Roman noble families? i have a feeling that these seemingly ancient historical actors/events actually have a greater bearing on our modern world than we are being told

Mithras (like Attis, Osiris, Krishna, Mani, Apollonius of Tyana) has many similarities to Christ

There is nothing wrong with knowledge. But keeping secrets from your kinsmen for personal gain should be a crime. Happens that whenever there is a scheme there is always a Jew behind it.

Tfw its a depiction of killing molachs army. Not a cow.

>i have a feeling that these seemingly ancient historical actors/events actually have a greater bearing on our modern world than we are being told
My feeling too. I feel as if it never really ended. The same people who rule us today are descendants of those that ruled the ancient world.

We would call this area more or less the "Caucasus" and it's neglected by historians. I don't think whites came from the Steppe (they did much much earlier, where the horse and apple originated). They came more from Dacia/Ukraine (the Hellenes and so forth), and down through the Caucasus, via Hyrcania to the Indus.
Proof of this is the Mitanni, which is a Vedic, Indian white race who returned to Kurdistan.

Reminder that pagan gods are fallen angels.
