Reminder that the recent vote to table a restriction removal plan was defeated 45/55, so its not like there was a huge disparity. Just 20 Lib/NDP MPs need to break ranks to push that over the hump. Another fact to keep in mind, demographically the provinces of the premiers who have condemned the emergency act invocation make up 40% of Canada's population or approx. 14.9 million, opposed to the 21.5 million that makes up the other provinces. Ontario alone makes up 2/3 of the population for provinces with premiers who have either supported or simply refused to condemn the invocation of the emergency act. This is not a broadly supported measure.
