When it was first legalized it was more expensive than black market weed which caused the cannabis industry to hemmorage after the initial novelty wore off.
Now weed prices in canada have cratered and there is a price war between the government and the black market. Good for me though because I can pick up an ounce for $50 now.

From my perspective, I've been to dispos in HI, WA, NV. Everything I've ever gotten has been subpar. Dry bud, weak shit, etc. It's not a lib thing, it's a business thing. Why would I go to a dispo, spend more, for something of less quality, and I don't even get to try before I buy? I mean I get 20% of my purchase back in extras. I don't get that no matter how much I spend at a dispo. It's a no brainer that a good "mom n pop" situation will pull through.
