>Out-of-court settlement in civil case means Duke of York is spared giving evidence at trial
>The Duke of York has settled the sex assault case filed against him by Virginia Giuffre for an undisclosed sum, sparing him the humiliation of giving evidence in a trial and protecting the royal family from further reputational damage.
>The out-of-court settlement in the US civil case means Prince Andrew makes no admission of guilt over claims by Giuffre that he sexually assaulted her on three occasions when she was 17, allegations he has repeatedly denied.
>In a letter filed to the judge, Lewis A Kaplan, lawyers for Andrew, 61, and Giuffre, 38, said the two had reached a “settlement in principle”. A statement read: “The parties will file a stipulated dismissal upon Ms Giuffre’s receipt of the settlement (the sum of which is not being disclosed).”
>It added that Andrew would make a “substantial donation” to Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights. International lawyers told the Guardian that the cost to Andrew was likely to be more than $10m (£7m) even before paying his own legal bill that is expected to run into millions.
>Tuesday’s legal statement continued that Andrew had “never intended to malign Ms Giuffre’s character” and that he recognised she had “suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks”.
Epstein and MANY elites raped toddlers and it was film and used for blackmail. The public got wind of this. The media makes the whole story about this one guy prince Andrew getting a foot massage from a 16 year old. The public feels as though the issue has been addressed when really it hasn't at all.
Was some well done propaganda

I believe she did at some point - bong police were never going to investigate or charge a Royal though. And US police would never get a Royal extradited to USA.

if you're rich or powerful enough.

>Andrew had “never intended to malign Ms Giuffre’s character” Is this a posh euphamism for anal sex?
She was barred from a criminal prosecution because she settled the Epstein case in 2009. It would have been double Jeopardy.

Nice cashgrab

What do we do about the prince though?

She was 17 at the time, which is entirely legal in the UK. She was clearly happy about it at the time as she was paid for everything she did and went back willingly many times. All that happened here is a woman who has hit the wall realised she could make money out of this. A lawyer got in her ear and said she could get a big settlement. She got her first payout in 2009 to shut the fuck up. She probably blew all the money and needed more so she went after the only person she could.

she claims Epstein took the photo at her request, 'as a momento for her mum'. Not sure she has any particular reason to lie about that desu. It was more innocent days, back then. Its more odd that none of Epsteins vids - who was known to have wired every room - ever surfaced. Isnt it. Feed him to the moat sharks. He'll be getting used to that by now.
Cooper Fisher
She looks perfectly happy in that photo. Prince should not be mixing with commoners
