The economy is dead. The only thing keeping the ponzi scheme going is ZIRP and massive money printing. Now we’re seeing 15% inflation and the Fed can’t hike rates because of the massive debt loads the government and megacorps are carrying.
If they do nothing, we get massive inflation while doing nothing but kick the can down the road until we’re Zimbabwe. If they raise rates to the degree necessary to fight inflation, the megacorps all go bankrupt at once and the government collapses because they can’t service their $30 trillion debt.
We’ve been trapped in a no win scenario since 2008 when they decided to bail everything out instead of taking the hit while it was still manageable.
