My state hasn't had a single mandate in the last 12 months, why the fuck do I care if people in Washington don't have the balls to tell their governor to get fucked? We did here last January, a huge group of people got together and demanded an end to the mandates and they not only listened, we scared our state house and senate so bad they passed laws making mask and vaccine mandates illegal in the state. There was actually a huge protest but nobody could tell because the traffic was exactly the same (bumper to bumper), Large trucks with American flags aren't rare, the extra cops present for rally blended right in with extra cops for the superbowl and the volume of honking was exactly as ear shattering as it normally was.
Seeing as nobody was wearing masks anyway and there weren't any mandates everyone went home happy to succeed. All in all a successful protest.
