Scrap metal and sold second hand to other countries for dirt cheap. Phased out of service slowly they where still using the T-34 as late as the 1960’s.

>russian T34
actually 150,000 units

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-34
Most sold to nations with no tanks.

why the fuck would russia still use t34s in 2022

I'm a Wehrboo, but t34 is the coolest ww2 tank

Russian military reserves are fucking insane. Yes, they still have T34s kicking around, ready to be decosmolined and pressed into service, incase the hun ever comes stomping across the motherland again.

I would literally rather drive a 2001 Honda Civic into battle than a T-34.

Are those Mickey Mouse ears?

russia produced 103,000 tanks in ww2 and lost 86,000 of them

fuck driving it, as a static small shit arty unit, it's not bad.

My dad got to drive a T34 in the sixties, because he was in the second line troops. Doing it underwater fucking sketchy af.

my favorite part about that tank is the ramped inner hull design that slaps the master track pin back in if it decides to slide out when on the move

that shit is quality engineering

Most of them are kept in museums or sold to some African countries

To some extent a strike with superior quantity will beat a smaller force of higher quality.
It's basically zombies vs people scenario: zombies are easily beaten one on one, but prevail when they have the numbers.

Nah they don't seem to. T-54/55s is the oldest thing in storage.

I suspect they're all hiding from Tiger Tanks.
>Faces 50 T-34's alone
>Kills 27 of them in a single day
>Causes the other 23 to flee

T-34s are still used in Africa

mud huts, spears and witch doctors are still used in Africa. not saying much

brilliant insight. I'd like to subscribe to your substack

it's full of racism and hate for the establishment. im sure you'd enjoy it

sold to dirt-herders, then destroyed in training or through pure negligence. a couple might have been destroyed by the US during desert storm but i think iraq fielded mostly T-72's

why? it was a piece of shit

all the other third-world shitholes give them to their national police forces. doubt they have any shells for them, but they intimidate their own citizens well enough.

yeah, was watching old storm/shield footage a little while ago didn't see one 34 anywhere. lots of viciously wrecked 72s

they probably would have been in bahgdad just sitting around, if anything. the T-72s actually got fielded, and completely fucking destroyed.

A really tough piece of shit with a big gun. Nice round design provided lot's of glancing blows as well. Really annoying piece of shit actually. There also were a lot of those pieces of shit coming down the road at you.

it's widely regarded as the best tank of the war and something the Germans should have just copied. they used 100s of captured ones

ooo real time operations. Haven't heard of this channel gonna watch this

Relax. Grab a beer. There’s nothing to worry about. Bag-pipin’ Bill Barr’s on the case!

If only WW2 had been a World of Tanks game Germany might have won.

Nothing lasts forever, past a certain point the amount of effort needed to keep something like that running is more than it is worth.

kind of a myth. .optics were terrible, visibility was terrible, only commander had a radio, they were horribly uncomfortable

they could take a beating from anything other than an 8.8cm armed panzer, why they were lauded so much. the older german tanks were behind on the main gun when it came out
