Somewhat agreed but if you study everything from the ancient greeks to the church fathers to the various theological and philosophical developments occurring up to the present the whole thing looks to me like less like a psy-op and more like an ongoing conversation throughout history that has led us to an understanding of quantum physics, to the new thought, etc.
So the real issue isn't Christianity but it's that people never really understand the religion in a profound way and instead fall for literalism and for various interpretations that suck.

You bring good points. Remember in dark times there is always a remnant. The church has become a whorehouse and place of idolatry, like in the old testament when some of the wicked kings turned the temple mount into a high place for over a dozen different altars to different gods. This isnt the time to reject the church. You wouldnt reject your family in disarray but do what can be done to purify it. Jesus Christ sees it and gave us many warnings on what is to come. We are actually seeing very early signs of it. I think we are very likely in the midst of the prophesied "great apostasy".
