I'm talking out of my ass here but if it's anything like the bong system then the government can just declare whatever the fuck they want to be law using statutory instrument, then parliament votes on it later to affirm or negate it, and this is done at their leisure, not on a priority basis. So two more weeks could be correct. It's how pretty much all the lockdown bullshit in the UK was passed. Boris just unilaterally declared it to be and parliament couldn't vote on it until they pulled their head out of their collective arse. Not that it did any good since they're all just different sides of the same shit coin and all in on lockdown anyway, so everything was voted in favour regardless, it just meant he could arbitrarily change the rules on a near continuous basis without any oversight knowing that it would take parliament weeks to actually vote on anything, and by then he'd probably have changed the rules back anyway.
