The federal emergencies act has the necessary order-making power to have the trucks moved. The province was either making some large legal stretches or bluffing the entire time with its state of emergency. Our courts could order the trucks moved as with Windsor though so I'm not sure why that wasn't tried more widely. Or police carefully enforcing existing applicable laws like the highways act to chip away at the protest.
No idea why our politicians all seemed to want to jump to the biggest shiniest tools to waive around.

givesendgo site was hacked by an Antifa hacking group and they redirected the campaign to their own site which hosted the dox list. That site has since been taken down and the campaign was back up (then went into maintenance), but not before the list was downloaded and spread around by the radical left through twitter and reddit. We've been archiving any instances we see of people sharing it because it's illegal to disseminate PII in Canada, especially if it was illegally obtained so we're working on gathering evidence of people boasting about the list so we can submit to the Canadian authorities.
