Why does many Westerners hate America? All my European exchange classmates at university had negative comments or satire about America and Americans. My Canadian and Australian native English teachers enjoyed telling me that America is a third world country and a land of stupid people. I don't know where this started. In general, the most hated country here in South Korea and East Asia is China.
