It's more sinister than that. It basically is a psyop designed to seperate potential dissenters from the rest of society and funnel them into the most humiliating and/or illegal things that the parties in charge can think of. It occurred to me as I was wondering, what if a group wanted to recruit the best minds? Pseudo anonymous sites such as these would make a superb method to achieve this. This place seems to attract mostly INTPs/INTJs, so you're already funneling certain types of personalities fit for problem solving through the structure of the site alone. Then it's just a matter of observing the posts and post history, and you can more or less tell if the person is trustworthy or not to join your ranks. It could be any organization, Skull and Bones, Plvs Vltra or the Thule society. They would be able to more or less predict what you're about and if you accept joining or not.
