I don't see things ever going back to normal but for different reasons. It feels like people are doing things to pretend to live rather than to actually live if that makes sense. I don't really know how to describe it but things will never, ever feel the same even if this coronavirus nonsense magically disappeared tomorrow.
Anybody else feel like life is merely trying to emulate life rather than being

That’s called trauma
Everyone is brainwashed beyond hope. I live in a world where everyone has single digit IQs. All my friends, family, the public, now are demonically possessed and hopelessly worshipping the TV.
There ARE NO humans. Its over. Atomic decay won...we just havnt realized it yet.
Yes but I felt that way even before the memedemic. There's too much instant gratification, people lack drive, everyone's become nostalgia obsessed. I keep hoping it will eventually turn around but I'm afraid that's just how it is now.
>OH NOW THERE IS NO SOUND
Someone that old lost touch with normal in 2001
Yeah, I think it's something a lot of people notice as they get older.
I'm 35 and my main internal response to most of what people say or do around me is to doubt their sincerity. Less because I think they're trying to deceive me and more because I can't conceive of the possibility where I would care about what they're caring about were I in their given situation.
Like a general recurring sentiment of "does that really matter?"
I'm only like 22.
You’re not wrong, your age group lives for social approval, likes and followers. All this shit is superficial. People go out to fancy place or travel not because really they want to, but because they can post photos on Instagram.
Theres people who figured it out back when they were teens.
>I'm only like 22
In that case you should stop thinking and go do drugs and rail fat girls like a normal college aged guy.
Most people are just stupid.
Ask yourself, how do you live?
Do advance your state in the world, or do you advance your state in the game?
Do you jerk off to thots, or do you have a relationship?
Do you eat nutritious food, or synthetic garbage?
You're driving the ship. If your life seems empty and synthetic, chances are it's because of the way you live. I don't mean that as an insult - it's the default path. It takes immense effort to self direct away from empty gratification. There is no satisfaction in this life without struggle, though there can be pleasure. Pleasure is deceptive. Its warm embrace will lull you to sleep if you let it, discouraging all meaningful pursuits in favor of the perceived easiest, most pleasurable option.
You've never seen your neighbors carrying groceries
this guy should have been so much better than he was but he probably got jewed
checked and creepypilled
But I have. Not often, but I have. Neets in general aren't going to be on the same kind of schedule as every day wagies, and in my experience wagies either go grocery shopping first thing in the morning or after work. You're just not gonna see it unless the schedules are in sync, and life doesn't work that way often. But on places like military bases where the majority of people are often getting off of work at the same time, it's common to come home and see your neighbors unloading groceries.
Eh, fuck it. This place has deteriorated so much in user quality that you niggers are just going to assume some outlandish conclusion about the reason for this post, so believe what you want. You're going to anyways.
Jewish hands typed this.
it is a fake and unnatural system inhereted from pastafaggits.
at least for europeans.
soys and suitscum love it tho.
they can pretend to be of some value in such a system.
Agreed. Disregard hedonism. It's fake and gay - empty pleasure. Meaning is literally fucking everything.
Bros, do you often feel like life is an illusion and that your conciousness is at the center of it all?
Yeah every house has an attached garage in the US, Ahmed. We don't live in thatch huts. People just pull in, close the door, then unload groceries.
