Actual trans here (haha lmao kms k) First thing is to listen to why she heavily wants to transition. Secondaly is she stable? Does she come from a home of abuse or multi families. If you are extremly close has she had the horror of being sexualy assaulted by anyone. Ask her what makes her sad about her body. Ask her what she thinks hormones will actually change for her. Ask her if the pain is so horrible of being female that she'd rather die and even lose family than not transition. Ensure that she understands that these hormones do cause damage, you cannot go out drinking like the rest of the lads you will lose a few number of years on your life, you will have higher rate of cancer ect.
If she is okay with all of this because to her, she will most likely kill herself within the next few years anway and that dying from cancer causing hormones long term is a better deal then tell her to go to a gender therapists. You genuinly cannot change someone who is truly transexual. They'll just be a deppressed husk for the rest of their life and still commit suicide, where as if they truly are then they'll at least have a few years of eurphuria of thinking it may all work out( theres a 40% chance it wont)

It's the acceptance of mystery and the fact that no matter how hard you look there will only be more questions for any answer you get. That's what faith really is, acceptance that you will never have all the answers.
