Did anyone else predict this?

>media pushes EV cars
>car manufacturers play along
>millions of boomers rejoice
>charging network only caters for 6 people
>omg why are drivers killing each other?

Since the late 90s when first hybrids and ev cars were pushed it was obvious that it was a retarded investment. took them just 25 years to go full retard

>burn natural gas
>generate electricity
>plug in EV
>???
>environmentalism
do you remember what it was like to see products go from actually good to everything having planned obsolescence? cars are now in the fray

my 30yo $200 shitbox doesn't have this problem.

Think about this....wil replacing all petrole pumps with Electric charging points be enouf taken in acount the charge times compare to fuel times?

What wil be?

and remember they'll be subscription too
you haven't payed for your month's drive electrical service, the car will stop and lock you out now
>but it's a fucking snowstorm and I'm 40km from home, don't do to this now
good bye dave, you should have payed when you had the chance

based

I hate these fucktards who brag about their Tesla only taking 15-30 minutes to fast charge
yes it works out kind of ok when you’re the only person with a Tesla and your area has a ton of meme chargers everywhere but if everybody on the road has to stop to recharge for 15 minutes every 100 kilometers you’re going to have Disneyland lines at every charging station

no link, as is all too common

the nightmare continues

This push to electric cars is so retarded. Early adopters get swindled once more.
Just carry on using oil while the world does R&D on something better. Forcing mediocre technology never solves anything.

>EV fags killing each other
definitely good for the environment

Attached: 1568421230596.jpg (398x473, 31.95K)

that was their plan all along

Exactly. In my retarded opinion bateries are not the solution for one air transport cannot use it ship transport cant. So bateries at best are a partion solution.why not go hydrogen fuel?
The world makes no sence to me.

I mean there's also the fact that if you live in northern hemisphere and don't have a heated garage you're shit out of luck during winter since Lithium Ion batteries cannot store charge at bellow 20C

yes and no. install the charger wherever it can stay plugged in and keep the batteries warm.
I know teslas can do this, don't know about any other ev

cars have been "in the fray" for over 50 years, leaf.

>Tesla goes oopsie: owner burns to death
>Hydrogen car goes oopsie: the whole street has to be repaved and bone shrapnel removed from all pedestrians

Seems pretty metal

Hell yes!
Sand-niggers will happily leave an EV connected to a free outlet 24/7 and send a wife out to collect the vehicle when they need it.
Niggers will happily unplug a car to connect their own. (Not that niggers have got EVs yet, but they will be forced into them, and when they are, that will happen.)

That's before niggers and other shitskins work out that people coming up to a charger
a) Have a limited-range vehicle.
b) Are going to be there for a while
c) Are high-value leftist cucks who deserve to have their wealth redistributed.

It's going to be glorious!

I hate fucktards who brag about their Model T only taking 10 minutes to refil
yes it work out kinda when you're the only person with a Model T and your area has tons of oil refineries everywhere but if everybody on the road has to stop and refill for 10 minutes every 50 miles you'r going to have disneyland lines at every oil refinery

>let's stick it to big coal by helping big nickel and lithium miners

that’s not true, you can’t safely charge them at below 5 Celsius but they don’t lose their charge when cold. They usually have battery temperature control systems to heat or cool the battery to a proper temperature for charging. When you’re pulling that much power, heating the battery up to 6 degrees Celsius is trivial. It wastes some power but I don’t think it interferes with charging unless you’re in Antarctica.
electric cars are still stupid but this in particular isn’t the deal breaker

Apples and oranges nigger. Never took that long to fill up a Model T. Gas and go

>t. retard
cars are no longer self-repairable you intentionally obtuse faggot

Electric cars are the transportation equivalent of 3D TV. They are pushing it hard but will probably fail like 3DTV. The consequences of failure of the push for electric cars will be much greater.

thats why they are staging so many BLM supporters driving into crowds

The only people who are complaining about electric cars are the people who can’t afford them.

From what I gather hydrogen is terribly inefficient to such a degree it takes 3kW to create 1kW of energy compared to putting 1-1.3kW into an electric car and getting 1kW.

yes it did.
cars sure are currently self-repairable, even teslas. You just have to learn how to do it.
Planned obsolescence has been a factor in cars for 50 years and is not new in the slightest.

>yes it did
No it didn’t. Refute me with something providing proof or shut your mouth and never post here again nigger

Black and decker started that in the 50's.
Even the people who were alive at the time don't remember that shit any more.

Consumer electronics as old as your grandad are still operable and effective, if found and reconditioned.

Parts are scarce though; everything is proprietary nowadays.

Learn fabrication skills.

I can easily afford one. Electric cars as anything but short range transportation don't make sense.

>Angola
Rare

hydrogen logistics are shit but the tanks have blowout mechanisms and you can watch videos on YouTube of hydrogen cars with full tanks being set on fire.
The tanks blow out a huge jet of flame toward the ground when they overheat which is deadly but usually not as deadly as a spilled gasoline fire.
Hydrogen doesn’t generally make fuel air explosions because it’s lighter than air and floats away.
This does not apply if you have a hydrogen leak in somewhere with an enclosed roof, for an example of what happens in that case look at the video of the Fukushima nuclear plant.
hydrogen is dangerous in its own way but it’s still an oxygen-limited combustion reaction rather than a detonation.

I’m not sure what happens if a hydrogen tank gets crushed by a truck though.

It’s “paid”, but since you’re an English gringo, I’ll let it slide.

People are already complaining when supercharging stations have prices equal to gas prices. Imagine increasing the price to 3x of gas.

Haha
Don't they always?

Sorry EVcucks, you're just another passing fad.

Attached: 1615863766206.jpg (750x688, 264.54K)

just did nigger

That'll be a fuckton of windmills in the future. Birb genocide.

I predict these electric cars will go bust in a few decades and oil tycoons will profit from the bloodbath of ecarfags rushing to buy up a gas guzzler, while money people smartly brought up all the oil shares on the huge ecarfag trend dip
with everyone wanting to now punch holes in the ozone, smart money says we're going back into the Middle East for more oil, so expect a 9/11 electric boogaloo

New EVs get 400k to a charge and you just plug them in at home. EVs as an environmental saviour is a retarded idea though.

>90s
Electric cars were being shilled in the 50s
