The problems aren’t fixable, experience is eternal, it merely sloshes and froths from one vessel to the next across existence. You could save a life, but if you didn’t someone else would; someone is always saving a life, and a life is always being saved. The same goes for all experiences: each one is always happening at all times.
There is nothing you can do to alleviate this burden other than to suffer yourself so that others don’t have to; because if you don’t suffer, they will. It is only by forcing upon yourself a sustained misery that you can buy even a tiny, momentary reprieve for another.

People are rotten to the core, it's repeated throughout the Old and New Testament, so I guess I'll repeat it again: there is nothing man-made coming to save you. There is no ideology, machine, or drug that will cure you or the rest of mankind. No philosophy or beautiful dream will create a little utopia down here. Ever. Humans are too far gone. You will hang on, barely, hoping for a reprieve until your dying day, with spans of respite if you've accepted Christ (until you sin and mess up again which is pretty much inevitable) and then you will MAYBE be saved and not face an eternity of worse suffering on here if you've accepted Him and are not too far gone.
