I’m in a similar boat, user, although not quite the same. I believe there is intelligent design. I want to have faith. I even pray. But I don’t yet believe in the god of the Bible. I think I may have been forsaken for past deeds. I keep trying though. I hope God will give me eyes to see. That is all I ask.
