On Thursday, February 3rd, I was picking up my husband from work in Niagara Falls. As I was turning into his workplace, I was struck by a very angry man in a Dodge pickup truck. After trying to gather his insurance information he became extremely violent and pushed me into the busy roadway. He grabbed my head and smashed it into the snow-covered pavement. I attempted to get up, yelling for help, and he came at me again striking my face and the side of my head at least three times. I thought he was trying to kill me.
I don't know if this was a targetted attack or if it was hate motivated, an investigation remains ongoing.
