If contained in east europe russia wins, too easy to reinforce and run supplies. Nato is 99.99% US and its very costly for US to maintain the troops and materials for long enough on russias backyard.

North Korea can easily take the South and Japan solo. Japan doesn’t have much of a military and Seoul gets shelled to hell within the first hour. It’s now a 3 front war for the USA assuming the Middle East doesn’t use the opportunity to go after Israel which they certainly will.
