Say anything you want about the 2nd amendment, but I think modern handguns are essential for home protection. We all know when the constitution was written the premise of guns revolved around muskets and powder pushers. Let's be honest here, what can beat a Glock with hollow points when someone tries to kidnap or murder my family? I don't believe in resolving issues with weapons but it doesn't hurt to learn how to shoot a handgun, take the concealed carry weapons course and practice shooting at the range for muscle memory. I live in the Midwest and I have a plethora of guns. AMA.
