All modern governments use extensive propaganda on all platforms conceivable and people are exposed to it from birth. They literally have NEVER been free of propaganda for their entire lives, and could not function politically without it.
This is the ultimate truth and failure of our reality. We have constructed an entire political system on a centralized information-distribution system that forces people to comply with a very limited range of opinions.
It's good that you've realized this. Remember, first, that just because you see it doesn't mean it's gone. The moment when you recognize the propaganda is when you are MOST vulnerable to it, because you start to implicitly trust information that you don't think is propaganda. That's how you are rerouted back into the system. Second, it will take you years to fully recover from indoctrination. Recognizing indoctrination is a start, but now you have to rebuild an entire pathway of reasoning and analysis so you can safely take in information. Third, information that is true can still be propaganda, when its truth is abused to justify unrelated conclusions.
Some recommendations:
>Start reading, especially the classics
>Identify yourself with a small group, ANY group. A church, your family, a group of solid friends, a club. Pour your identity into that group, it is your shield against propaganda.
>Find hobbies that don't involve technology (in addition to reading). Finding a regular sport for every season is a great idea. Going on walks too. Some form of craft or a fine art
>Get in the habit of going out just to BE out. You don't have to do anything important. You can just get coffee and read outside. Just be present in the human world.

I can't event watch the news after the trump bashing. Its not even about trump it was that traditionally there has been blue news (CCN) and red news (Fox). But for some reason these two sides joined forces to bash trump (weird).
