Weather over here at the end of January (when the western media claimed an invasion would begin) was bad, with blizzards occurring and snow touching down as far south as Istanbul. Visibility would have been affected and lighter vehicles would have a tough time. They could have hoped that the weather would get colder, but several inches of snow have since melted, and everything is muddy. Soon enough precipitation will become more constant and you can expect that the terrain will be shit for armor movements. Tldr nothing ever happens.
