You can't easily wipe an SSD due to wear-leveling algorithms. With an HDD you can load up Darik's boot and nuke and rest assured that no one will be able to recover data from it, not even the NSA.
SSDs can have data recovered by any dumb gorilla nigger because nothing is truly deleted, just a bit flipped. The NSA loves SSDs.
