I work on a remote SCRUM team with a lot of Indians. They work as hard as the Americans on our team and they are always up late because they work in our time zone.
I don't really understand the hate a lot of you guys have for Indians. They are always super nice, polite, helpful, hardworking, and good-natured. They're great programmers and problem-solvers too.

What's the difference? Most I've worked with are from up North I think.
The difference is in their physiognomy, behavior and human interactions. Northerners are cool in their own way, but southerns are literally gypsies who will rob you without a doubt.
From what I hear the south is much more developed, that's where most of the IT industry is located although there is a good bit in New Delhi too
