The biggest thing that helps me find whether or not that I like someone is if they can actually hold a conversation, and that they're not a safespace neo-con neo-lib pussy that couldn't punch their way out of a wet paper bag. The second biggest thing is how much of a user they are. If they try to contribute to any situation as much as I do, then I feel like I have met someone who is not both evil, and useless.

People aren't 'bad'; they do bad shit and think bad stuff, but sometimes it's just them acting out their natures. A cat hunting birds in a tree isn't bad, it's what it does.

I think that's pretty accurate. I have a really strong radar, and I think it even works like some sort of shitty divining rod. I see the stupidest fucking people, usually the extreme left or the extreme right, and they are more self-destructive than the ouroboros. Also, they are usually fake intellectuals who don't like learning anything and everything, and are usually comparable to a one trick pony.
I judge their actions by imagining myself doing them and seeing how I would feel about doing them, and then I consider what would drive them to do said actions. With this exercise I often find out just how much of a doormat I let my self be and just how much disrespect other people might have for me and other people in general. And how greedy, how spiteful, selfish, and ugly they are.
People disappoint me all the time, yet, I don't hold grudges, it is just good to know who I can and cannot trust. So I can either become a hateful bitter cunt myself or come to reconcile with the fact that a vast majority of people are horrible and immoral and just treat them as much respect as you can allow for without letting them make a fool of you or hurt you and others. And sometimes people would really benefit from a good beating as it is the only thing they understand unfortunately
All people are both good and bad. The difference is who they are good to and who they are bad to and how often.

You overestimate your abilities. I used to think that as well, then I lived longer and learned that some people are really good at hiding their bad intentions.

It's a gut feeling, at least for me. The times I have gotten "This is a bad person" vibes from I went on later to find out they were a knife killer, rapist, gold-digging whore. schizo (not in the endearing sense this board uses), and serial cheater. There are plenty of what I would call "normal" people, generally well meaning even though they can be stupid/assholes/etc. But you get a feel from the really malicious ones.
